What counties does the Monroe Design Center serve?

United Built Homes builds on your land throughout Northeast Louisiana and many surrounding communities. The Monroe Design Center serves homeowners in Ouachita Parish and nearby parishes, including Bienville, Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, LaSalle, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Richland, Tensas, Union, West Carroll, and Winn. UBH also serves portions of nearby parishes such as Claiborne, Grant, Natchitoches, Red River, and Webster.

Does the Monroe Design Center serve Arkansas?

Yes. The Monroe Design Center also serves portions of southern Arkansas, including areas near El Dorado, Hampton, and Eudora. This includes portions of Ashley, Bradley, Calhoun, Chicot, and Union counties, along with nearby areas such as portions of Columbia and Ouachita counties.

Do I need to have my house plans before visiting the Monroe Design Center?

No. You don’t need to bring your own plans. You can browse dozens of customizable floor plans at the Monroe Design Center, and if you already have a custom design, we’ll discuss whether it’s a good fit for your project.

Can I customize one of your floor plans instead of building it exactly as shown?

Yes. Most UBH floor plans can be personalized to better fit your family’s needs. You can discuss layout changes, finishes, exterior styles, and other options with the Monroe Design Center team.

How long does it take to build a home in the Monroe area?

Every home is different, but once construction begins, your timeline depends on factors like weather, permitting, site preparation, and your home’s design. The Monroe team will provide updates throughout the building process so you know what to expect.

What should I bring to my first appointment at the Monroe Design Center?

If you already own land, bringing information about your property can be helpful, but it’s not required. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or you’re ready to build, we’ll explain the process and answer your questions.

Does pricing vary by location?

Yes. Home pricing and availability can vary depending on your build location, site conditions, selected floor plan, chosen options, and other project-specific factors.

Do I need to own my land?

United Built Homes specializes in building on your land. Whether you already own property or are considering purchasing land, the Monroe Design Center can help explain what’s needed to get started.

Can I use my land as a down payment?

In many cases, yes. If you own your land, its equity may be used toward your new home, depending on financing qualifications and project details.
