Barndo-Inspired Homes Built the Traditional Way

Love the look of a barndominium, but want the comfort, financing, and building process of a traditional home?

United Built Homes can help you create a barndo-inspired home that fits your land, your style, and the way you want to live. While we do not currently offer true metal-building barndominium plans, we do offer home designs that capture many of the features people love most about the barndo style, including open living areas, farmhouse character, large porches, flexible layouts, and room to make the home feel like your own.

A Practical Alternative to a Barndominium

Barndominiums are popular for a reason. They often feature simple rooflines, open interior spaces, generous porches, and a relaxed country feel. But building a true barndominium can also come with challenges, especially when it comes to financing, residential finishes, local building requirements, and finding the right builder.

United Built Homes offers a practical alternative.

Our barndo-inspired home options give you the look and feel many customers are drawn to, while keeping your home within a more traditional residential building process. That can make pricing, financing, construction, and long-term livability easier to understand from the start.

Start with the Wildwood

The Wildwood is currently one of our closest plans to a barndominium-inspired look. With its spacious farmhouse design and comfortable layout, it is built for everyday living while offering the country-inspired style many homeowners love.

It is not a metal barndominium, but it is a strong starting point if you like the barndo look and want a comfortable home backed by the process, guidance, and financing support you can count on from United Built Homes.

One of the biggest questions with any new home project is how to pay for it. United Built Homes offers in-house financing options for qualified customers, which can help simplify the process compared to coordinating separate lenders, builders, and construction financing on your own.

Our team can review your situation, walk you through the process, and explain what options may be available.
