Building your own home is a special event. United-Bilt Homes has some fun ideas to preserve the excitement and the memories:

Family Time Capsule

It's easy and fun to make a family time capsule. Our construction team will be happy to help you bury it on site, or even hide it inside the home structure. Choose a sturdy jar or a metal water bottle. Add the front page of a newspaper, a photo of your family, a recording you’ve made, and maybe some small objects that will show people in the future what life was like. Make a note somewhere so that you’ll remember to open the capsule and be able to find it!

Leave an Impression

Stop by the site when the concrete is being poured and leave your hand prints and the date. Kids’ hand prints? Sure! Just be prepared to help – some kids don’t weigh enough to get a good imprint, and may need adult help.

Photo Album

UBH takes photos of your house throughout the entire construction process. Well be happy to give you copies of these photos on a CD. Use the photos, family art and other items to create a scrapbook, either in a physical book or as a digital scrapbook or slideshow.
