Is United-Bilt a custom builder?

Yes. UBH can build one of our plans, a modified version of our plans, or a custom plan of your choice. We offer the flexibility to build your home the way you want it.

Are your homes pre-fab or modular?

Absolutely not. United-Bilt builds your home using conventional house framing techniques. All homes are built on a slab or crawl-space foundation. Materials, including roof trusses, are delivered from our centrally located lumberyard. United-Bilt operates its own lumberyard to guarantee top quality lumber for your home.

Does United-Bilt Homes build completely finished homes?

Yes. United-Bilt can finish your home, or leave some of the finish to you to save you money.

How long does construction take?

Construction times vary based on weather, size of the home, contractor availability, and other factors. Our experience shows that we can typically build a finished home in 100 - 120 days.

Can United-Bilt finance my new home?

Yes. United-Bilt offers up to 30 year financing with competitive interest rates and flexible terms.

What kind of down payment will I need?

If you own your property free and clear, United-Bilt usually does not require a down payment for qualified customers.

How much out-of-pocket will I need at closing?

United-Bilt can finance your new home with no money down! For qualified property owners, United-Bilt does not require a down payment.

What if my credit is bad? Can you still build for me?

Each situation is different. Sometimes we are able to help those who have had credit problems in the past. The best thing to do is to talk to a Sales Associate and learn if you qualify.

Can I do some of my own work on my new home?

Yes. Save some money and do the work yourself! At United-Bilt, we keep it flexible for you.
